Brian is a Computer Science PhD candidate at the University of Toronto with more than 10 years building low-latency stream-processing systems for NLP and computer-vision applications. He brings deep technical expertise to VantEdge's core architecture and is the recipient of numerous academic awards in edge computing.

Eyal de Lara, PhD

Chief Scientist, Co-Founder

Eyal is one of Canada's top computer scientists and a pioneer in edge computing and distributed systems, with 30+ years of experience. A Professor and Chair of Computer Science at the University of Toronto, his research spans distributed systems, cloud and mobile computing, and applied AI. He provides scientific leadership and strategic vision for VantEdge.
